How do these videos differ from others on the market?
Instead of spending lot of money on a fancy production, we spent our time and effort filling these videos with high quality information. This has allowed us to provide you with the best instruction, while also keeping our product at an affordable price. When compared to other popular videos on the market, our videos are almost 35% less expensive and filled with twice as much information. Not only will you be taught techniques that most instructors are unwilling to teach, but also you will learn the fine details to things you thought you already knew well. While other instructors may randomly throw together some techniques, all our information is taught in a logical sequence and placed in drills that are easy to remember and practice.
How long is each instructional video?
The length of each video varies depending on the particular set, however, the average time is between 45 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes on each DVD. Just keep in mind that there are no numerous instant replays to waste time. Each technique is shown from a few angles so you can see the details clearly and then we move onto the next technique.
Are the techniques taught on these videos designed for sport BJJ, no gi grappling, or no-holds- barred fighting?
A majority of the techniques can be used for both sport BJJ and no gi grappling with slight modifications. Obviously, there some some videos, like the Ultimate Gi Chokes series, that are specifically for sport BJJ. Though some of the techniques may be applicable for NHB fighting, that is not the focus of our videos.
What skill level are these videos designed for?
Each video set is given a "target skill level" rating. Beginner refers to a white or beginning blue belt in BJJ. This is generally for anyone who has trained 2 years or less. Intermediate refers to blue and mid-level purple belts or anyone who has trained between 2-5 years. Advanced refers to high-level purple belts and above.
