"I just recieved my 2 DVDs from Michael Jen (very fast service BTW) and have watched them once. I know this isn't going to be my last time watching them, because they are really good.
Back Escapes isn't the world's most sexy topic, but it is very important. When you watch the Mundials, Abu Dhabi, or the UFC a large percentage of the submissions you see come from back mount, so escaping the back position is important for beginners as well as world class grapplers!
These DVDs cover a ton of different scenarios. Other than the section on escaping the lapel choke, most of this material is gi and no-gi applicable. One DVD covers all the variations and permutations of the turtle position (ie no hooks). This is important because many takedown attempts and pin escapes end you up in the turtle. The second DVD covers escaping the hooks-in position, including belly up positions, belly down, attempted chokes, etc. Very comprehensive.
Three thumbs up"

"I got this tape recently and my back mount escapes have went up a notch. There is next to no questions unanswered for back mount escapes on it. Every time I asked myself "but what if he were to do this...?", [Jen] came with the answer shortly on the tape. It's one of the better tapes I own, for sure. Previously, all I did from under the back mount was to try to snatch the half guard, but I was getting tired of being on my back so much. [Jen] shows a lot of quick reversals that end up with you on top of the side mount. I'm already using several of them in sparring with good success. I'm on top more often and I don't fear the back mount anymore. Great stuff!"

" I also own this one, and it is excellent. Great details, especially with the gi."

"I own [this] as well and it has been very useful... It has really helped my sidemount escapes which I get to my knees and end up turtled with my opponent in front. I used to get stuck turtled or have to go back to the guard, now I at LEAST end up in the top of half guard. "

"Great tape. Covers all back positions. Hooks in, escape from bottom turtle position, etc. Even though the tape is geared towards wearing a GI, a lot of the moves is applicable to no-GI. GET the DVD. Once you know these moves, you won't ever panic again if someones on your back."

"I've had them and been working everyday for about 2 weeks with the techniques. No joke, I will gladly let you take my back. Get these DVDs if you want a complete game."
