"Ever since I started wearing the gi, my game changed a lot and I embraced collar chokes with an open mind. I love collar chokes and slap them on my students as much as possible.
The first two tapes have been reviewed by several people already, and I feel their reviews are accurate. The only thing I would like to add was that I really enjoyed the explination of controlling someone in your open guard. As a bonus you get to watch Joe manhandle [Jen] a little bit - hehe.
The second set of tapes have a ton of info I have never seen on any other tape series, and boy do I have a lot of tapes. I have taken privates on this subject from several different instructors and never been shown anywhere near this much info.
The third tape is on chokes when you have the back without your hooks in, I felt I had a handle on this topic,(whatever!) lets just say Joe is the freakin man!! I have never seen so many variations of chokes and break downs from this position. All the defensive postures I have used from this position won't work anymore once people get their hands on this information. Really - if you could remember all the chokes, sequences and breakdowns from this tape you would be unstoppable from this position.
The fourth tape is on the topic of chokes when you have the hooks in. The explination on controlling your opponent and keeping your positional dominance has never been shown this well before. Joe and Michael showed some really good sequences from here as well as breaking down their defenses and finishing them off. Michaels blue belt students face while being demonstrated on was pricless. To try to explain some of the moves off of these last two tapes would take more then my patience will allow.
In closing if you know this info and someone just sits there and tries to defend, even for a couple of seconds, they are dead in the water.
I feel at this point in my game this stuff would carry me well into black belt as far as collar chokes are concerned. I have all of Michaels tapes and this time he has raised his standards even higher."

"
I have had this tape set for about 3 years and I still refer to it from time to time. A must have for anyone training in the gi."

"I think the tapes are very good. One of the tapes covers breaking down posture in great detail. Joe shows several different positions to choke from and shows different variations based upon your opponent's resistance."
